Will My Bromeliad Bloom Again?

Frequently Asked Questions

Most bromeliads bloom only once in their lifetime. As bromeliads age, they grow new leaves from the center. With the addition of these leaves, it is impossible for a bromeliad that produces its flower stalk from the center to continue producing them. Once your bromeliad blooms, it will begin to form offsets or pups. These are exact replicas of the mother plant. So while your original bromeliad will not bloom again, with proper care, the pups it produces will put off beautiful blooms.
